ABOUT OUR TEAM
Meet the Brothers Behind QuestKeys
QuestKeys was created by brothers Jonathan and Edward Sywulka — two lifelong musicians, educators, and local entrepreneurs who grew up right here in Whittier.
Both Jonathan and Edward attended Ocean View Elementary, East Whittier Middle School, California High School, and Biola University before building careers that have taken them into schools, churches, concert halls, theme parks, cruise ships, and performing arts organizations throughout Southern California and beyond.
JONATHAN SYWULKA
Jonathan is a professional musician, educator, and entertainer with a degree in Music Performance from Biola University. He has performed for Disneyland, Disney's California Adventure, and Princess Cruise Lines. He has also served as band director at Grace Christian School, performed with the Whittier Regional Symphony and presented their youth outreach programs to elementary schools.
Jonathan is also a professional magician and balloon artist who began performing regularly in restaurants at age 19, including four years at Downtown Disney. He has since performed at the Magic Castle and entertained at events for universities, cities, nonprofits, and major companies — including the Queen Mary, the Richard Nixon Presidential Library, and Sony Pictures Studios.
EDWARD SYWULKA
Edward is a professional pianist, organist, conductor, arranger, and musical director with more than two decades of experience. After studying music at Biola University, he earned his master’s degree from Boston University. Since 2005, he has worked with schools, universities, churches, and community organizations throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties.
Edward currently accompanies the La Serna High School choirs and works with Whittier College, the Southern California Children’s Chorus, and Chorale Bel Canto. He has led worship at Whittier Area Community Church, serves as an organist at St. Michael Orthodox Christian Church, and creates original arrangements and accompaniment recordings for musicians and theatrical productions. Edward lives in Whittier with his wife Aimee and their eight children—yes, eight!
